“Other” option

The "other" option can be used in radio, checkbox and select fields to provide for situations where it is not possible or practical to provide a list of all possible options to a question. On selection, the "other" option will open up a basic text field for the user to type their response to the question.  

To set an "other" option:

1. add a new option by selecting + on the "Options" tab of the edit panel, and
2. toggle the other option.

You can then enter a label for the option. A value is not required for an "other" option, however, if one is provided, it will appear as a default answer in the free text field that appears on selection.
